Mostly For Kids is a Children's Resale Clothing/Thrift Shop in Fryeburg Maine. The store contains lots of good quality, gently used children's clothing & toys. Everything is inexpensively priced. It is designed to be mostly for kids, however, the owner couldn't help but to put some adult clothing and items in there as well. The motivation behind this unique thrift shop is that the shop owner Amber, was previously a foster parent for 10 years. On many occasions she had children placed with her in the middle of the night, and most of them came without any clothing. So that she would have some clothing on hand for them, she started looking around for gently used/high quality resale thrift shops. She found that a lot of them in her opinion, either charged way too much so that you might as well buy new, or that many of them contained clothing that had stains, rips, tears, or was excessively faded, which she refused to put on any child. This gave her the idea to start a thrift shop that not only offers great affordable prices, but that the clothing and items are in great condition. This store is located in Fryeburg, Maine. It is located in the same plaza as Froagie's Ice Cream Shop and White Mountain Overhead Doors. It is right off Route 302. This shop does not do consignment. The shop owner did not want the responsibility of keeping track of peoples clothing/items/or money. In order to keep the prices affordable for everyone, the shop owner buys the clothing in bulk, and resells them at inexpensive prices.
